Grey Zabel (born March 30, 2002) is an American professional football guard for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the North Dakota State Bison and was selected by the Seahawks in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft.
Career
[edit]Born on March 30, 2002, in Pierre, South Dakota,[1] Zabel attended its T. F. Riggs High School, where he played both offensive and defensive line. He committed to North Dakota State University in Fargo to play college football.[2]
Zabel (#74) played for the Bison from 2020 to 2024;[3][4] after two years as a backup, he became a starter in 2022.[5] Despite NIL offers to transfer to other schools, Zabel returned to NDSU for his final year in 2024,[6][7][8] and played in the Senior Bowl.[9]
