GoodBarber is a no-code development platform developed in France, allowing the building of mobile apps and progressive web applications.[1][2]
History

[edit]GoodBarber was a result from a merger of the French software companies DuoApps and WebzineMaker in 2001. It was founded by François-Sébastien Simoni, J. Pietri, P. Chiappe and F. Bernardini, in Ajaccio (Corsica). Before 2011, GoodBarber's platform was a generator of SaaS blogs and websites.[3] In 2011, DuoApps and WebzineMaker launched GoodBarber in to develop native iOS apps, Android apps, and progressive Web apps, with an intended purpose for content publishing and the making of eCommerce sites.[4][5][6][7][8]
After launch
[edit]The app initially launched in English and French, and between 2013 and 2015, GoodBarber expanded to add Italian, Spanish, German, Portuguese, and Turkish.[9] In December 2018, the companies WebzineMaker and DuoApps merged into the GoodBarber Entity.[10]
