General Matter

General Matter is a United States based nuclear energy startup. It was founded in early 2024 and formally launched in April 2025. It is dedicated to producing high-assay low-enriched uranium (HALEU), a type of nuclear fuel needed for advanced reactor designs such as small modular reactors.[1][2][3][4]
