Fan Cichuang (Chinese: 翻刺床, romanized: fān cì chuáng, lit. 'Thorn Bed') is a Chinese traditional folk ritual practiced in western Guangdong province.[1][2] The ceremony features a bed constructed from thorny branches and is typically performed during local festivals, weddings, or religious events.[3][4] It is part of the traditional rituals of the Lingnan region in southern China.[5]
