FAIRWINDS Credit Union is a federally insured financial institution headquartered in Orlando, Florida. Founded in 1949, it has grown to serve over 240,000 members with more than $5 billion in assets. FAIRWINDS provides a full suite of financial services for consumer and business members including checking and savings accounts, loans, credit cards, and digital banking. [edit]FAIRWINDS maintains a strong presence in Central Florida, operating 33 branch locations as of May 2025.[2] These branches offer a full suite of financial services, including personal and business banking, lending, and wealth management. Notably, the University of Central Florida (UCF) campus hosts a dedicated FAIRWINDS branch and multiple ATMs, providing convenient access for students, faculty, and staff.[3]
Beyond its branches, FAIRWINDS members enjoy fee-free transactions at all FAIRWINDS-owned ATMs, as well as at over 33,000 ATMs and 5,000 shared branches nationwide through the CO-OP ATM network.[4] This expansive network includes ATMs located in retail establishments like 7-Eleven and Publix, enhancing convenience for members across the country. FAIRWINDS includes ATM fee rebates on certain checking accounts that gives members access to any ATM they choose to use.[5]
Through its combination of local branches, nationwide shared branching, and an extensive ATM network, FAIRWINDS Credit Union ensures that members have broad and convenient access to their financial services, both within Central Florida and across the United States.
