Echinorhynchida, from Ancient Greek ἐχῖνος (ekhînos), meaning "hedgehog", and ῥύγχος (rhúnkhos), meaning "snout", is an order of parasitic worms in the phylum Acanthocephala. It contains 13 known families:[1]
