Removal of "Proposed deletion Fife Steel Basketball Club" notice.
In response to the proposal to delete the page for Fife Steel due to its "amateur" status.
All basketball clubs in Scotland, with exception of Glasgow Rocks, are considered amateur/part time (in that they can not be considered a full time employment).
However, almost all, and including every other with an article on Wikipedia, are affiliated to Basketball Scotland (the governing body). I would argue that Fife Steel also fit this criteria as they participate in all of the same competitions and are also an affiliated partner with Basketball Scotland, not just "another team" on the list.
On checking the other wiki entries for Scottish teams I noted none of them use the term "amateur". Again, all these teams have equivalency, so I have removed the word "amateur" from the opening paragraph Maclac78 (talk) 08:41, 21 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
