Solicitor General dates
[edit]I am having some trouble determining the term start/ end dates for Meredith's tenure as solicitor general. Daniel Cameron announced his appointment of Meredith as SG on December 11, 2019, but he did not assume office as Attorney General until December 17 (https://www.lanereport.com/119856/2019/12/attorney-general-elect-appoints-new-solicitor-general/). Is it safe to say Meredith's appointment became official when Cameron assumed office?
As for term end, I can find no public news regarding Meredith's resignation or the date his successor (Matt Kuhn) assumed office. Kuhn's LinkedIn stating he began the position in December 2021, although an unreliable source, is the only reference I can find.
Any help on this matter would be much appreciated (doubly appreciated actually, as I am also working on a draft article for Solicitor General of Kentucky). William R. Wilks II (talk) 17:08, 20 June 2025 (UTC)
