Hi, I've been asked to assess this draft. Hopefully, it will help this biography become publishable.

  • I changed the class; it's not ready to be B-class at this point. It's something that can changed later, as this bio improves.
  • At this point, this bio is very draft-y. I'd even call it a place to gather notes, so that's how I'm looking at it. I suggest that you continue to gather sources and make notes. For example, let's look at ref1, a staff bio page from International Society for Science & Religion in Cambridge. Although staff biography pages from one's place of employment, in this case the educational institute where Balslev works, isn't the most reliable of sources, they are sources that others who create and improve WP bios about academics use. I also suggest that you mine this source and the other sources you use; see WP:MINE. Take notes from your sources and then paraphrase the biographical information. Ref1, for example, states that Balslev is involved in research about cultural and consciousness studies. You'll notice that I went ahead and created links, mostly because I didn't know if the terms I linked are a thing and found out that they are.
  • Cross-Cultural Conversation section: Currently, this section is more of a way to organize your research. I don't suggest keeping this section; instead, the information about CCC may eventually go into a Career section. See Jennifer Howe Peace for a good example about how bios about academics are structured.
  • Publications section: It's not customary to include references in a Works or Publications section.

Hope this helps. Keep up the good work and let me know how I can assist in the future. Best, Christine (Figureskatingfan) (talk) 03:27, 11 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
