Dr. Zubaida Sirang Aseer, a Pakistani ophthalmologist, is known for her book on ophthalmology, Optics Made Easy, which has gained global recognition and has been listed as one of the best ophthalmology books of all time by Book Authority.[1][2][3][4]

She has pioneered the "Hub and Spoke" eye care model in the underserved regions of Northern Pakistan. She has been awarded with Pride of Pakistan by ISPR, the PSL Hamaray Heroes, the Development Leadership Award by the Government of Pakistan as a policy leader, and a Fellowship in the Faculty of Remote, Rural and Humanitarian Health by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, for her services in the remote regions of Pakistan.[5][6][7][8][9][10][11]
