Your Second Wife series is an upcoming American erotic thriller television series created by Jamie Rosengard, based by the short story of the same name by Laura van den Berg for HBO Max.
Plot
[edit]Aspiring actress-turned-high school theater teacher Liana Dunn is trapped in stasis on Long Island struggling to move on from the death of her sister. Leading to an unconventional double life that proves too intoxicating for her to give up … even when it places her life in imminent danger.

[edit]On March 19, 2025, HBO Max was set to produce the television series adaptation of Laura van den Berg’s short story “Your Second Wife” with Jamie Rosengard writing and showrunning the series, and executive produce with Michael Sugar, Ashley Zalta, Adele Lim, Naia Cucukov, and Jessica Rothe.[1]
