Yoan Atanasov Bornosuzov (Bulgarian: Йоан Атанасов Борносузов; born 9 January 2004) is a Bulgarian footballer who plays as a striker for First Bulgarian League club CSKA Sofia.[1]
Club career
[edit]As a youth player, Bornosuzov went through the youth academies of CSKA Sofia.[2][3] At the age of 17 he joined Genoa where he won the Campionato Under 18 in his first season.[4] For all youth team he managed to score 25 goals in 102 matches. He returned to CSKA Sofia on 4 July 2024.[5] In his first season he scored 13 goals in 29 appearances for the reserve team in Second League.[6] He was was promoted to the first team at the beginning of the 2025–26 season.[7]
International career
[edit]Bornosuzov was called up to the Bulgaria U17 national team. He made eight appearances for the Bulgaria U19 team and one for the Bulgaria U20 squad. He made his debut for the Bulgaria U21 national team on September 10, 2024, in a 3–1 loss to Poland.[8]
