Kouadio Yann Kouakou (born 17 August 1999) is a French–Ivorian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Romanian club CSU Alba Iulia in Liga III.[1][2]
Club career

[edit]According to Transfermarkt, Kouakou spent part of his youth career at an academy affiliated with Paris Saint-Germain and had a brief spell with Spanish side SD Huesca.[1]
Penya Encarnada d’Andorra
[edit]In the 2022–23 season, he signed for Penya Encarnada d'Andorra and made a 16-minute appearance in the Primera Divisió (Andorra’s top flight).[2][3]
Red Star FC (reserves)
[edit]In 2023, he played for the reserve team of French club Red Star FC.[4]
Kiruna FF
[edit]Later in 2023, Kouakou moved to Sweden to play for Kiruna FF in Division 2.[5]
CSU Alba Iulia
[edit]In January 2025, he signed with CSU Alba Iulia in Romania’s third tier, a move covered by local media and highlighted by FutbolJobs.[6][7][8][9]
Style of play
[edit]Kouakou is a powerful, pacey forward able to operate centrally or out wide. He is noted for his technical skill and heavy shot, making him an impactful attacking presence.
