XHERM (Benjamin Hermann born in 2002) is an American singer-songwriter from outside Chicago. His music blends alternative rock, indie, and punk influences, delivering raw emotion and introspective lyrics.

Early Life XHERM grew up with one brother and one sister. He never felt drawn to academics but found an outlet in music, picking up the guitar at around age 15. Inspired by rock and alternative artists, he developed his skills through self-teaching and experimentation.

At 18, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, an experience that shaped his perspective and discipline. After receiving an honorable discharge, he turned to music as a form of self-expression and healing. He began taking voice lessons to refine his craft, pushing himself to create music that resonated with his emotions and experiences.

Career In the summer of 2023, XHERM released his debut single, BLACKED OUT, a song that captures themes of emotional turmoil and self-reflection. Since then, he has released several more singles, further developing his sound and artistic identity. His music is characterized by gritty instrumentals, melodic hooks, and deeply personal lyrics.

His first EP is set to release on March 4, 2025, marking a significant milestone in his career.
