Wikifoodie is a South Korean online media outlet focused on food-related content. The platform was officially launched on December 11, 2024, and features articles about Korean cuisine, seasonal ingredients, home cooking, and recipe tips under the slogan “A voice for a tastier world.”

Overview

[edit]

Wikifoodie provides text-based content aimed at offering practical culinary information for daily use. Its coverage includes seasonal ingredient recipes, ways to reuse leftover food, and simple home cooking tips.

Activities

[edit]

In April 2025, Wikifoodie was listed on Google News. That same month, the platform won the final round of the "Boost-Up Challenge," a five-month content competition hosted by Kakao's Content CIC division. It was awarded first place based on the highest number of content shares during the final mission.

According to a report by Hankyung, Wikifoodie consistently attracted attention by publishing practical and seasonal food content throughout the challenge period. The site surpassed 22 million pageviews within the first three months of its full service launch in January 2025.[1]
