Weekly Sonar Bangla[a][1][2][3] is a weekly newspaper of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami published in Bengali.[4][5]
History
[edit]Weekly Sonar Bangla was founded by Mohiuddin Ahmed.[6][7] Weekly Sonar Bangla is also registered as a weekly newspaper with the Department of Films and Publications of the Government of Bangladesh.[8]
In November 2015, Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ) expelled its units affiliated with The Daily Sangram, Naya Diganta, Weekly Sonar Bangla and Diganta Television as those media houses are run by Jamaat-e-Islami and Islami Chhatra Shibir.[5]

[edit]The office of the weekly publication is located in 423 Elephant Road, Bara Moghbazar, Dhaka - 1217, Dhaka.[9]
Editorship
[edit]It is published by ATM Sirajul Haque. The acting editor is Md. Tasneem Alam.[9]
