Vinita Chandra is an Indian academic currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Humanistic Studies at Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi.^[1]

She holds a Ph.D. in History and has previously been affiliated with the Banaras Hindu University and the Institute of Development Studies, Jaipur.^[2] Her areas of teaching and research interest include gender studies, tribal history, and education.

Chandra was previously associated with the Aam Aadmi Party during the 2014 Indian general elections.^[3]
