Vinay K Srivastava (born 28 November 1975) is an Indian academic, author, and public intellectual specializing in finance, economics, and management studies. He is known for his contributions to public discourse on economic policy, taxation, and state own enterprise reform in India.
Early life and education
[edit]Srivastava was born in Allahabad (now Prayagraj), Uttar Pradesh. He completed his schooling at Government Inter College (GIC), and later pursued higher education at the University of Allahabad, earning a B.Com, M.Com, and D.Phil. in Finance from University of Allahabad, and an MBA in Finance from the UPRTO university.
Career
[edit]Srivastava has served in various academic and administrative positions. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Institute of Technology and Science (ITS), Ghaziabad. He has also served as the Dean of Management at Raffles University, Neemrana, and Dean of Academics (Management) at Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology (RKGIT), Ghaziabad.
He has mentored Ph.D. candidates and supervised over 250 MBA/PGDM research projects.

[edit]Srivastava is married to Dr. Bani Anand, a psychologist and academic. She serves as an Assistant Professor at Devendra PG College, Belthra Road, Balia, Uttar Pradesh. She holds a Ph.D. in Psychology and has authored several books in the field, as well as contributed poems and essays to news magazines. Their shared intellectual pursuits and interest in writing reflect a strong academic partnership.
