Submission declined on 30 March 2025 by Sophisticatedevening (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Thomas Jack Wilson (born 11 March 1992)[2] is a British Indoor rower and personal trainer who won the 2024 British Indoor Rowing Championships. He has also placed 2nd in European, and World Championships in 2023.[3] He has the role "Hammer" in the BBC sports entertainment game show Gladiators.
Representing his hometown of Nottingham, he secured the silver medal in World Indoor Rowing Championships in February 2024, held in Prague, Czechia.[4][5][6][7]
In 2025, Wilson, standing at massive 6 ft 6 in and roughly 19 st,[1] was named as one of the new Gladiators for the Second series of the hit UK endurance sports show, taking the brute moniker "Hammer".[8][9][10][11] Upon joining the show in the Quarter Finals stage of the competition, he described himself as "Hard hitting, powerful, quick, explosive and surprising" – a versatile Gladiator, despite his huge frame.[12] He said his build "sets him apart from everyone else".[13]
Outside of the rowing "boat", Wilson is also a personal trainer, and has gained following on his Instagram, where he shares exercise tips as well as updates from his personal life.[13] Wilson was engaged to Chelsea Atkin in May 2023.[14][15]
