The Zummers is a Canadian indie-rock band based in Pemberton, BC. Its members include Tom Csima, Mikey Muscat, Alex Drapeau, and Jessie Richards. The band formed in the summer of 2024 and is set to release their first single, 'Grenoble' on August 15th, 2025[1].
History
[edit]Formed in Pemberton BC, The Zummers competed in 2 band competitions within 6 months of their formation, winning both; the Whistler Music Search at the Crystal Lounge[2], and the Squamish Battle of the Bands[3], held at the Brakendale Art Gallery.
Influences
[edit]The Zummers are known for playing up-beat dance music, with influences ranging from funk, soul, disco, blues, jazz, psychedelic rock, and folk genres.[3] The group site the Beatles and Mo-town artists as influences.
