The Vims were a punk rock band formed in Denton Texas in 1996. Their only notable piece of music was the split album Cellmates (1996) with a fellow Denton Punk rock band Bowling For Soup on their own Que-so Records.

Their Lineup consisted of Chris Kruse — lead vocals, guitar Justin James — guitar, backing vocals Nicholas Yovich — bass and Robert Hamilton — drums, backing vocals

The band would break up before the split album even released. Chris Kruse drew the cover art for the album Cellmates while Robert Hamilton drew the inside characters.
