  • Comment: Still needs some time I think. It's been released, but few reviews from sources listed in WP:VG/S have come out. I found one for VentureBeat here: [1]. Can you find two more reliable reviews on the game as listed in WP:VG/S to get it across the line of notability? VRXCES (talk) 07:35, 16 May 2024 (UTC)
  • Comment: Unfortunately this fails WP:GNG as the article lacks significant coverage from reliable sources of the type covered in WP:VG/S, indicating that it just may be WP:TOOSOON for this to merit an article. Happy to chat if you have any questions or need help. VRXCES (talk) 06:11, 3 March 2024 (UTC)

The Political Machine 2024 is a government simulation game from Stardock and the seventh game in the Political Machine series, in which the player leads a campaign to elect the President of the United States. The player accomplishes this goal by traveling from state to state and engaging in a variety of activities to either raise money or raise poll numbers. The game was released on May 2, 2024.[1][2][3][4][5] This game is based off the 2024 United States presidential election, which took place on November 5, 2024.

Gameplay

[edit]

The Political Machine 2024 has two gamemodes; primaries and presidential. In the primaries gamemode, you run against three people from your candidate's own political party. To win this gamemode, you need to win the most delegates from winning state caucuses. In the presidential gamemode, you need to win 270 electoral votes which you receive on election day depending on the states you win. In this gamemode, you can go to debates which can either help you or hurt your campaign depending on your performance.[6] In both gamemodes, you can use Political Action Cards that can be used to help your candidate.[3][7][8][9] You can earn endorsements using Political Capitol, which boost your relations on some issues. Fundraisers use stamina and give you money depending on the wealth of the state you are currently in. You can create campaign headquarters which can give many benefits.[10]

On April 23, 2025, the 'Tariff Update' became available. This update was made to reflect real-time political shifts and updated state demographics and party registration data[11][12][13]
