YouTube content
[edit]At the start of the channel, The Cherno would frequently post videos of him using Java to program a 3D game which he liked and not so often post a video of him playing Minecraft. Although in the present day his content is categorized in three parts: His educational videos where he shows the audience how to program something or do something, His code review series where it involves The Cherno encouraging people to send him an email where they provide builds to GitHub for the code they coded. Then The Cherno would take a look at the code, roast it and fix it, and he also has a ray-tracing series where he teaches people ray-tracing.
in more than 98% of his videos, he uses the Visual Studio code IDE to teach people and review their code. Although his primary focus is the Game review series which he enjoys very much because of the idea to 'roast' his audience.
The Cherno's thumbnails involve easy to read photos, primarily with him in the center. His titles are hooking and they convey the main idea of the video. In his intro he often likes to say, "Hey what's up guys, my name is The Cherno.". His videos typically span 20-40 minutes.
The Cherno's funding for these videos mainly comes from sponsorships, mainly Brilliant
