The Beauty is an upcoming American drama television series created by Ryan Murphy and Matt Hodgson for FX. It is based on The Beauty, a comic book written by Jeremy Haun and Jason A. Hurley.[1]

[edit]On September 30, 2024, FX gave production an 11-episode series order. The series is based on The Beauty, a comic book written by Jeremy Haun and Jason A. Hurley. It is created by Ryan Murphy and Matt Hodgson who are expected to executive produce alongside Evan Peters, Anthony Ramos, Jeremy Pope, Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Kovtun, Scott Robertson, Nissa Diederich, and Eric Gitter. Production companies involved with the series are 20th Television and Ryan Murphy Productions.[1]
Casting
[edit]Upon series order announcement, Peters, Ramos, Pope, and Ashton Kutcher were cast in starring roles.[1] Rebecca Hall was cast by the time the series had begun production.[2]
Filming
[edit]Filming for the series began on December 2, 2024 in New York City.[2][3]
It was confirmed the crew was filming in late January 2025 in Pearl River, Rockland (New York). [4] Evan Peters and Rebecca Hall were spotted filming in New York City on February 10, 2025. [5]
