Submission declined on 13 May 2022 by KylieTastic (talk). This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies. Declined by KylieTastic 3 years ago. | ![]() |

Super 70s Sports is a sports and entertainment Twitter account providing commentary and satirical content on a variety of topics, primarily from the world of popular culture in the 70's, 80's and 90's.
It was founded by Ricky Cobb, in December 2013.[1]
Super 70s Sports has amassed more than 565,000 followers.[2]
The account has been featured and referenced by multiple media outlets both in the U.S. and internationally.[1][3][4][5][6][7][8]
Cobb credits much of the explosion of followers to a 2017 post featuring Howard Cosell in the late 70's standing between O.J. Simpson and Bruce Jenner with the caption, "Ladies and gentlemen, I've looked into the future and you will not believe this s**t."
Athletes and actors from the time period frequently interact with Ricky and his posts, including Rob Lowe, Dale Earnhardt Jr, Fergie Jenkins, Martina Navratilova and many more.[citation needed]
Super 70s Sports has spawned a companion podcast and several copycat sites and social media accounts and acts as a new-age National Lampoon for sports and entertainment fans of the time period.[citation needed]
