Steven Jaschinski (born August 16, 1998) is a Canadian professional baseball umpire.[1] He umpired his first Major League Baseball (MLB) game on May 16, 2025.[2]
Career
[edit]Jaschinski attended the Minor League Baseball Umpire Training Academy in 2017. He placed within the top of his class and was subsequently assigned to the Gulf Coast League. He also worked the Northwest League that year, and was assigned to the Midwest League for the 2018 season.[1]
He made his major league debut on May 16, 2025 for a game between the Detroit Tigers and Toronto Blue Jays at the Rogers Centre.[2]
