== Bihar State Highways Project-1 ==
Bihar State Highways Project-1 is an infrastructure development initiative undertaken by the Bihar State Road Development Corporation Limited (BSRDCL) to upgrade and expand the state highway network in the Indian state of Bihar. Under this project, a total of nine state highways were constructed, covering a combined length of 824.22 kilometers across 18 districts of Bihar.
The project was aimed at improving road connectivity between major towns and cities within the state and enhancing access to the National Highway (NH) network. It was implemented in multiple phases, with the first phase focusing on the construction of nine key highways.
Major Highways Constructed

[edit]State Highway 68 (SH-68) is one of the key roads constructed under Bihar State Highways Project-1. The highway is 82.25 km long and connects Shivganj in Aurangabad district to Baidarabad in Arwal district, passing through:

- SH-69: 152.8 km – connects Dumaria and Sherghati in Gaya district to NH-98 near Ranitalab in Jehanabad district.
- SH-70: 58.23 km – runs from Fatehpur in Gaya to Rajauli in Nawada district.
- SH-71: 85.2 km – connects Jehanabad to Parvatipur in Nalanda district.
- SH-73: 88 km – connects Siwan to Sheetalpur in Chhapra (Saran district).
- SH-74: 87.06 km – connects Hajipur to Muzaffarpur via Areraj in Motihari.
- SH-75: 46.75 km – connects Darbhanga to Madhopur.
- SH-76: 121 km – connects Araria to Bhaptiahi in Supaul district.
- SH-77: 102.93 km – runs from Kursaila to Forbesganj in Araria district via Purnia.
