Monastery of the Meeting of the Lord or Sretenje Monastery is a men's Orthodox monastic institution in Escondido, California, part of the Serbian Orthodox Church in North and South America.[1] It is under the omophorion of His Grace Bishop Maksim Vasiljević of the Serbian Orthodox Eparchy of Western America. The administrator of the monastery is V. Rev. Protobresbyter Milovan Katanić.
The monastery is located truly "off-the-beaten-track" as the saying goes, though it's not hard to find once you begin to follow GPS instruction.[2]
