[edit]SmartMoving was founded in 2019 by Tobe Thompson.[1] In 2022, the company received $41.5 million in growth equity from Mainsail Partners, a private equity firm that invests in software businesses.[2] The funding was reported to support hiring and product expansion.[1]
Products and Services
[edit]SmartMoving provides a cloud-based software platform used by moving and storage companies to manage business operations. According to company materials, the software includes tools for customer relationship management, scheduling, invoicing, digital payments, and integration with accounting systems such as QuickBooks.[3]
