Siltech

[edit]

Siltech is a Dutch manufacturer of high-end audio cables and electronics, founded in the 1980s. The company is known for its use of high-purity silver, proprietary silver–gold alloys, and advanced insulation materials such as Teflon and PEEK.[1] Siltech cables are hand-assembled in the Netherlands and are distributed internationally. The brand is regularly featured at major high-end audio events, including High End Munich, the Hong Kong High-End Audio Visual Show, and Taipei’s TAA Hi-End Show.[2]

Products

[edit]

Siltech produces interconnects, speaker cables, digital cables, and power cords, organized into tiered series from entry-level to flagship lines.

  • Classic Legend – A mid-tier series reviewed by HiFi+ for its transparency, tonal balance, and engineering quality.[3]
  • Royal Crown – Includes the Royal Single Crown and Royal Double Crown, reviewed in The Absolute Sound for their construction quality, low distortion, and sonic refinement.[4]
  • Master Crown – The flagship series, using monocrystal silver conductors, described by Enjoy the Music as delivering “remarkable clarity and resolution.”[5]

Recognition

[edit]

In March 2024, The Absolute Sound awarded Siltech’s Classic Legend 880 cables a Golden Ear distinction, noting their combination of high performance and build quality.[6] SoundStage! Ultra has profiled the brand’s growth and product strategy, describing Siltech as “a consistent presence at the top tier of the cable market.”[7]
