Submission declined on 17 July 2025 by Bakhtar40 (talk). This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies. Declined by Bakhtar40 22 days ago. | ![]() |

Comment: Most of your sources pass, but remove any sources from Sendible themselves because Wikipedia prioritizes verifiability from independent sources over truth. Any information dependent on sources from Sendible themselves can also be deleted if you can not find replacements to the Sendible sources. Once you have done that, this will probably get accepted. 🇪🇭 Easternsahara U T C 20:07, 31 July 2025 (UTC)

Sendible is a social media management platform based in London, United Kingdom. It provides tools for managing social media presence for businesses, digital marketing agencies, and brands. The platform includes features such as campaign reporting, content scheduling, content libraries, and white-labeling[1][2][3][4]
Founded in 2009 by Gavin Hammar, Sendible operated as a bootstrapped company before its acquisition by Traject, an ASG-backed software group, in 2021.[5][6]
History
[edit]Sendible's development began in London. Some sources cite 2008 as the year founder Gavin Hammar began platform development[7], while others, including Sendible's official website and Localogy, list 2009 as the official founding year.[8] The company's origins involved Hammar acquiring a second-hand server for a nominal sum and connecting it to his home router.[7] Sendible initially offered a free service for scheduling emails, generating revenue through advertisements. This led to a user base of 20,000 users following media mentions.[7]
Sendible evolved from a basic publisher to include expanded features.[1] This enabled management of multiple clients, social profiles, and campaigns from a single interface. By 2016, Sendible's growth reportedly plateaued. The Telegraph reported that Sendible was presented as a UK-based alternative to platforms like Hootsuite.[9]The company shifted its marketing approach by featuring employee faces and emphasizing customer interactions.[7] This approach reportedly resulted in increased engagement by 2018.[7]
Sendible was acquired by Traject on March 9, 2021.[8][10] T Traject is a marketing technology holding company backed by ASG (Alpine Investors).[11] TThis acquisition was Traject's fourth social media company and its tenth overall company absorbed into its portfolio.[8] The acquisition provided Sendible with stability and resources for growth.[10] Prior to this acquisition, Sendible operated as a bootstrapped company for approximately 12 years.[6] During this phase, Sendible reportedly reached "8 figures in recurring revenue" and had "over 30,000 users and 50 employees".[7]
Following the acquisition, Gavin Hammar remained with the company for a transition period.[7] He departed Sendible in early 2022 to launch StoryPrompt.[7]
Services
[edit]Sendible operates as a social media management dashboard, a centralized platform[12] for businesses to manage their online presence. The platform includes features for managing social media across multiple platforms,[1] including Instagram, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, Google Business Profiles, YouTube, TikTok, Threads and Bluesky.[13][14]
PCMag reviewed Sendible, noting its ease of use, white-labeling options, and campaign reporting features.[2] TechRadar Pro also noted Sendible for its content calendar capabilities.[15]
Corporate structure and operations
[edit]Sendible is owned by Traject.[16] Traject is backed by ASG (Alpine Software Group).[11] The executive team includes Rich Scanlon (Chairman), Nico Watson (President), Stephanie Schnoes as Director of Finance, Hervé Nioche as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), and Heather Martoglio as Director of Customer Experience.
The reported employee count varies: Tracxn lists 35 employees as of December 2023,[5] Localogy reported 47 in March 2021,[8] and founder Gavin Hammar mentioned "50+ employees" pre-acquisition.[7]
Sendible operates as a remote-first company with a multi-location distributed team, while maintaining a base in central London.[8]
Industry position and competitive landscape
[edit]Sendible operates in the social media management software market. Its direct competitors include Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Agorapulse, and Social Pilot.[5][17][18] HubSpot lists Sendible among social media management tools for businesses, citing its publishing and client collaboration features.[19] Tech.co also includes Sendible in its list of social media management tools for small businesses.[14]
Sendible serves a reported user base of "30,000+ marketers",[7] and is listed 111th out of 1299 by Tracxn.[5] It has a 4.5/5 rating on G2[20] and it named it one of its top 10 tools.[21] VentureBeat reported in 2017 that Sendible was listed #1 in customer satisfaction for social media management on G2 Crowd.[22]
