Personal life

[edit]

Sharbino frequently collaborates with his sisters, Brighton Sharbino and Saxon Sharbino. The three siblings often appear together in creative projects and public media. In April 2025, Sharbino appeared as one of the central figures in the Netflix documentary series Bad Influence, which explores abuse, exploitation, and manipulation in the child influencer industry. The documentary focuses on allegations against Tiffany Smith, the mother of fellow influencer Piper Rockelle, and includes interviews with multiple teens who were part of the so-called “Squad” collective. Sharbino discusses the long-term emotional impact of his experience, including trauma, manipulation, and the coordinated harassment campaigns faced by teens who tried to leave the group.[14] The events depicted in the documentary also inspired Sharbino's 2023 single "Manipulate", which addresses psychological control and the experience of reclaiming one’s voice after trauma.[15] The documentary, which also features his mother Angela Sharbino, highlights the impact of the environment on young creators and details the lawsuit filed against Piper Rockelle’s mother, Tiffany Smith.[16]

Bad Influence (2025)

[edit]

In April 2025, Sharbino appeared as one of the central figures in the Netflix documentary series Bad Influence: The Dark Side of Kidfluencing, which investigates allegations of abuse and manipulation in the child influencer industry. The series centers on claims against Tiffany Smith, the mother of fellow YouTuber Piper Rockelle, and includes interviews with multiple teens who were once part of Rockelle's influencer collective known as "The Squad."

Sharbino shares his personal experience of the emotional and psychological toll caused by Smith’s alleged actions, including trauma, coercion, and coordinated online harassment after leaving the group. His 2023 single "Manipulate" was written in response to this period, expressing the journey of reclaiming one’s voice through music.

The documentary also features his mother, Angela Sharbino, and highlights the broader impact of the influencer environment on child creators. It references the high-profile lawsuit filed by eleven former Squad members against Smith, led by attorney Matt Sarelson of the Dhillon Law Group.[17]
