Early life and education
[edit]Saksham was born in India and raised in Australia in a multicultural household that encouraged creativity and performance from a young age. He began practicing magic and acting during childhood, eventually performing on stage and exploring opportunities in television and digital media. He studied Marketing and Media at Macquarie University in Sydney while also attending weekend acting classes. After graduating, Saksham undertook a four-month intensive program at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in Los Angeles, where he secured a talent manager and began auditioning for film roles in the United States.

Digital content and Unknown Filter
[edit]In 2022, Saksham launched the YouTube series Unknown Filter[6], a narrative project exploring themes of identity, technology, and mystery. Funded by Google and Screen Australia's Skip Ahead initiative, Sharma served as both lead actor and executive producer, making him one of the youngest South Asians to independently develop a funded series on the platform.
Film roles
[edit]In 2023, Sharma appeared in Companion[5], a dramatic feature film executive produced by Dev Patel. His role marked his transition from digital and television to independent cinema.
In 2025, he portrayed Vijay Rai[7] in ICE Road: Vengeance[8][9][4], the sequel to The Ice Road (2021), sharing the screen with international stars Liam Neeson and Fan Bingbing. The role marked his debut in a major action franchise and earned him broader industry recognition.
