"Sadi Gali" is a Punjabi song composed by RDB for the album Simply RDB. The lyrics and vocals are provided by Lehmber Hussainpuri.[1] The song was reused by RDB for the Hindi film Tanu Weds Manu (2011).[2][3][4]

[edit]In 2020, the Dutch football team posted a TikTok video of the team in the restroom with one of the team members drinking water and pretending that he broke his hand before they all start vibing to the song.[5]
Norwegian wedding dance
[edit]In 2022, an Instagram post a Norwegian group dancing to the song became viral.[6][7][8] The video received 1 million views upon release.[9]
Sadi Gali 2.0
[edit]A revamped version of the song was released in 2023. It was composed by Krsna (who composeed the other songs in Tanu Weds Manu) and Dj Shadow Dubai. The song was written by Rajshekhar and Prabh Bains and sung by Lehmber Hussainpuri and Shipra Goyal. The music video features Zaara Yesmin and Freddy Daruwala.[10]
