S Anshu Dhurandhar (born April 10, 1997) is an Indian film director, actor and writer, known for his 2025 documentary film Chhattisgarh ke Bheem Chintaram[1] and various books written by him.[2][3][4]
Career

[edit]S Anshu Dhurandhar made his film directorial and acting debut in 2013, at the age of 17, with the independently produced film The Kung Fu Child. His other films The Ultimate Kung Fu Child (2015) and Mahaniti (2016) were released after this.[5] During the making of The Kung Fu Child, his attention was drawn towards the life of Chintaram Tikariha, a regional strongman and social worker from Chhattisgarh.[6][7][8] This film was released in the year 2025 under the title Chhattisgarh ke Bheem Chintaram.[9][10][11] After this, a campaign was launched to include Chintaram's biography in the school curriculum of Chhattisgarh, under which signatures were collected.[12][5]
Books
[edit]In the year 2022, the novella Adhinayak written by Dhurandhar was published, which focuses on the struggle of a freedom fighter in the period after the 1857 revolution. In the same year, he also published the biography of teenage freedom fighter Bhuruva Singh. In the year 2024, he wrote books based on the life of Arya Samaj founder Swami Dayanand Saraswati and strongman Chintaram Tikariha.[13][6]
