Rockalina is an eastern box turtle known for her rescue in 2025 after 48 years in poor conditions.[1]

Life in captivity

Rockalina was taken from the wild in New York in 1977.[2] According to Chris Leone, she is estimated to have been 15 to 20 years old at the time of her capture.[3]
