Dr. Rashid Gazzali (born 20 November 1987) is an Indian academic administrator, education reformer, international trainer, and life coach. He is the founder of the Rabbani Educational Trust and Managing Director of Nilgiri College of Arts and Science. In 2023, he represented India in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) hosted by the United States Department of State.[1] He has been featured by major national media including India Today and The New Indian Express EduVision for his contributions to education and youth development.[2][3]

Early life and education

Gazzali was born in Wayanad, Kerala. He pursued business and leadership studies in India and abroad. He completed a Post Graduate Diploma from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow and obtained a Doctorate in Management from the Swiss School of Management.[4]

Career

Gazzali began his career in education with the establishment of the Rabbani Educational Trust, focusing on value-based and affordable higher education. He currently serves as the Managing Director of Nilgiri College of Arts and Science, which under his leadership, became India's youngest autonomous college and the first to achieve NAAC A++ accreditation in its first cycle.[2]

He is a syndicate member of Bharathiar University, contributing to academic policy and curriculum modernization.[3]

Initiatives

Gazzali developed the RG Signature Training Model, a leadership framework combining emotional intelligence, personal productivity, and social ethics. This model has been adopted in educational workshops, faculty development programs, and student mentoring sessions across India and the GCC.[2]

He also founded the PRP Happiness Forum, based on the pillars of Personal, Relationship, and Professional well-being. The forum promotes youth empowerment and mental wellness through seminars, publications, and digital outreach.[3]

In 2023, Gazzali was selected for the IVLP program by the United States Department of State, where he participated in high-level discussions with U.S. officials from the Department of Homeland Security, the Office for Civil Rights, and civil society leaders. The program included leadership seminars, institutional visits, and cultural exchanges.
