Captain Pradeep Singh
[edit]Captain Pradeep Singh is a Cypriot entrepreneur, maritime professional, and philanthropist based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He is the founder of Aethon Marine Services and co-founder of Karma Developers, with interests in shipping, real estate, and technology. Singh was listed in the Forbes Middle East Real Estate Impact Leaders 2025[1] and the Finance World Top 100 Expat Business Leaders 2024.[2]
Early Life and Education
[edit]Singh was born in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh, India. He completed his maritime training at T.S. Chanakya, India’s national maritime institute. He later became one of the youngest captains in the merchant navy. Singh holds multiple academic degrees, including:
- MSc in Finance
- MBA
- LLM
- Owner/President Management (OPM) Program from Harvard Business School
He is a Chartered Accountant and member of CPA Australia, CIMA (UK), and CGMA. Singh is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (FICS) and an alumnus of the University of Manchester’s Global MBA program.[3]

[edit]Singh began his career in commercial shipping, rising to become Director at an international shipping firm by 2010. He then launched Aethon Marine Services, a company providing ship owning, chartering, commercial management, and demolition services. Under his leadership, Aethon expanded operations across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
Real Estate
[edit]In 2013, Singh co-founded Karma Developers, a UAE-based real estate development firm. The group operates projects in the UAE, UK, Cyprus, Romania, and India, with a portfolio exceeding five million square feet. Notable developments include residential projects in Palm Jumeirah and Deira, Dubai.
