Career

[edit]

In the early 2000s, Aloni identified a need for specialized security training and later relocated to Canada, founding the Close Protection International Academy, which evolved into CPI Group Canada. The academy operated training facilities, including a 5,000-acre site in Arusha, Tanzania. CPI provided embassy and military security services and developed the JPP and WPP programs for the UN International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda.

Aloni stepped down as CEO in June 2019 and remained chairman until CPI’s sale to private investors in 2020. He then focused on global investment through Kedma Group, particularly in infrastructure and resource sectors.

In 2025, he partnered with HAX Global Resources in a US$180 million joint venture in Argentina focused on gold and copper mining. He also participated in development initiatives around a high-value gold discovery in Uganda that same year. Aloni is also active in AI-based investment ventures in logistics, defense, and retail analytics.

Philanthropy

[edit]

In 2017, Aloni founded and became vice president of the Kedma Foundation, supporting education and civic causes. Between 2015 and 2020, he donated over US$200,000 to various humanitarian and conservative religious organizations, including the Latet Foundation and the Worldwide Institute for the Study of Religion and Liberty.
