Patricia Jaggernauth (born August 1, 1982), also known as Patricia J or PJ, is a Canadian Emmy Award-winning television host, weather specialist, remote reporter, lifestylist, and entrepreneur. She is best known for her work as a Weather Specialist and Remote Reporter for CP24, Toronto’s breaking news channel, and as the founder of the online fashion boutique PJ GLAMGIRL. Jaggernauth has built a multifaceted career in media, fashion, and philanthropy, earning recognition for her engaging on-air presence and community involvement.

Patricia Jaggernauth was born on August 1, 1982, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, to Sara Jaggernauth and an unnamed father. She is of mixed Guyanese, Jamaican, Indian, and Black descent. Jaggernauth attended Winston Churchill Collegiate Institute for her high school education, graduating in 2000. She later pursued higher education at Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology, where she earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism in 2006.

Jaggernauth began her media career in 2005, working across major Canadian television networks such as Global TV, MuchMusic, SLICE, CTV, MTV, and CityTV, where she hosted, produced, and wrote for the music, entertainment, and lifestyle program NiteLife TV for two seasons. She also served as a host, writer, and producer at the Emmy Award-winning digital television channel BITE TV. Since June 2011, Jaggernauth has been a prominent figure at CP24, Toronto’s breaking news channel, where she works as a Weather Specialist and Remote Reporter. She has covered significant weather events, including the 2013 Toronto ice storm, and has hosted high-profile events such as the Caribbean Carnival, St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and International Pride Parade.


Jaggernauth has expanded her presence internationally, appearing as a weather expert on BBC, BBC World News, BBC Breakfast, BBC Radio, and PBS News, reaching audiences of over 110 million. She has also co-hosted E! Daily POP on E! News and NBC in Los Angeles. In 2024, reports indicated that Jaggernauth was preparing for an American television debut, sparking comparisons to media mogul Oprah Winfrey due to her storytelling ability and audience engagement.Jaggernauth hosts and produces The Patricia J Show, a talk show available on Bell Fibe TV1 in Canada and online internationally, featuring celebrity interviews and discussions on topics such as struggle and inspiration. Personal Life

Jaggernauth is engaged to Jani Frisku, a Canadian footballer, with their engagement announced on August 17, 2017. She has no children as of the latest reports. Jaggernauth has been open about her struggles with depression, anxiety, and stress, which led to a mental breakdown and hospitalization in 2019 due to a virus and her demanding work schedule.

In October 2022, Jaggernauth filed a human rights complaint against Bell Media, CP24's parent company, alleging gender and racial discrimination during her tenure. In May 2024, Ontario’s Human Rights Commission found reasonable grounds to support her claims, a decision Jaggernauth described as vindicating.
