Pal of My Cradle Days is a hit song about mothers recorded by numerous artists. Al Piantadosi composed the music and Marshall Montgomery (Marshall Albert Smith) the lyrics.[1][2] The lyrics include "I never knew, what a mother goes through, there's nothing that you didn't do."
Sheet music was published for it in the 1920s.[3] May Singhi Breen arranged the song for ukulele.[3] Artists who have recorded the song include Ann Breen.
