Order.co is a B2B Procurement and Finance Automation platform that offers software to centralize purchasing, approvals, payments, and reporting.[1] The company is headquartered in the Flatiron District of New York City.[2]
Order.co serves mid-sized and larger enterprises across various industries, including Hospitality, Property Management, Retail, Coworking, Fitness, Healthcare, Wellness, Early Childhood Education, and Non-Profit. Customers include WeWork, Hugo Boss, AvantStay, LaserMD, Suitsupply, 1800contacts, Pacaso, Dolce & Gabbana, Nobu Hotel Atlanta, New York Kids Club, Loro Piana, MINISO, Verano, Removery, FAO Schwarz, SoulCycle, Black Elm, and Orangetheory Fitness.[3]
History
[edit]Order.co was co-founded in 2016 by Zach Garippa and Tom Jaklitsch.[4][5] After spending time with procurement, operations, and finance professionals, Garippa discerned that outdated systems added unnecessary complexity to their daily workflows.[1] This discovery led to the creation of Negotiatus.
In 2022, Negotiatus rebranded to Order.co. This announcement came shortly after the company raised an additional $30M in funding from Stage 2 Capital, Clocktower Ventures, Collaborative Fund, Seven Peaks Ventures, and Ankona.[6] As of July 2025, Order.co has raised $70M in funding from MIT, Stage 2 Capital, Rally Ventures, and 645 Ventures.[7]
Technology and Features
[edit]Procurement Automation
[edit]In the Order.co platform, users can manage custom product catalogs, source lower-cost suppliers, set custom approval workflows, and view fulfillment updates for all orders placed within the platform. Its automation tools include purchase order (PO) creation, vendor consolidation, and real-time budget tracking.[8]
Accounts Payable Automation
[edit]Order.co's accounts payable (AP) features include automatic 3-way matching, GL coding, vendor payments, reconciliation, and live reporting. Its direct accounting software integrations include Quickbooks Online, Netsuite, and Sage Intacct. These integrations enable direct syncing of financial data and support multi-entity accounting structures.[9]
Working Capital Management
[edit]Order.co offers working capital management features such as Buy Now, Pay Later, universal payment terms, and consolidated billing for orders placed across vendors within its platform.[10]
Virtual Cards
[edit]With Order.co's virtual cards, businesses can pay for purchases that would not be placed through a typical product catalog, such as software and service vendors, while still benefiting from consolidated billing and analytics.[10]
AI technologies
[edit]Order.co AI analyzes thousands of vendor price points and learns from every transaction, return, and support ticket across its customer base to offer product recommendations from its 17k+ vendor network. The AI analyzes historical purchasing trends, supplier performance, and tariff changes to provide alternatives when a user's typical products are impacted by supply chain disruptions, pricing increases, and other shifting market dynamics.[7]
Order.co AI parses vendor emails to extract the critical order updates and conveys them to users in one email per day, so that businesses can track order statuses from all vendors in one place. Order.co AI flags when a purchase deviates from historical purchasing patterns in terms of pricing or quantity, and alerts approvers before the order is placed.[7]
Partnerships
[edit]As a Workday Select Partner, Order.co collaborated with Workday to develop an embedded B2B e-commerce experience within the Workday platform.[11] Order.co's "Integrated Search" functionality enables users to search for and purchase items from approved suppliers within the Workday interface. The tool allows teams to browse pre-approved catalogs containing contracted pricing and alternative options. Orders placed through the platform generate pre-populated requisitions. Once approved, Order.co manages vendor fulfillment, and invoices are automatically coded and uploaded into Workday.
In 2025, Order.co integrated with Avalara's tax compliance automation technology. This functionality allows customers to register their exemption status once and apply exemptions to eligible purchases across vendors at the time of purchase. The Avalara integration also enables reporting features to calculate tax obligations, mitigate sales tax liability, and reduce the amount owed during audits.[12]
