Composition and lyrics
[edit]The lyrics start off as a typical breakup song, but it soon becomes more vulgar as the singer describes various different things he'd rather do than be with his lover for one more minute from having his blood being sucked out by leeches to tearing his heart out of his chest and stomping on it until he is dead.[2]
Release
[edit]After the Dare to Be Stupid album. The song saw a release on a bunch of compilation albums, which include The Essential “Weird Al” Yankovic, Permanent Record: Al In the Box and Greatest Hits.[3] Yankovic said that it was still one of his favorites in the liner notes of the Permanent Record: Al In The Box box set.[4]
Live performances
[edit]Yankovic performed the song on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon during the 2020 quarantine.[5]
