Om Chhangani began his film production career with the Marathi film Prawaas in 2020, directed by Shashank Udapurkar and starring Ashok Saraf. The film was widely appreciated for its emotional depth and message about purposeful living. It was officially selected for the Indian Panorama section at the 51st International Film Festival of India (IFFI) and won the prestigious **ICFT–UNESCO Gandhi Medal** for its humanistic storytelling.[2][3]

Following the film’s critical success, Chhangani co-produced its Hindi remake titled Safar in collaboration with producer Vishal Rana of Echelon Productions. Safar is directed by the same filmmaker and features Bollywood actor Sunny Deol in the lead role.[1]
