Olga Korotyayeva (Ukrainian: Ольга Коротяєва; born 04 February 1977, Cherkasy, Ukraine) is a Ukrainian-French actress and former television presenter.[1]
She has appeared in various French and Ukrainian films, television series, and theatrical productions.
Early life and education
[edit]Olga Korotyayeva was born on 4 February 1977 in Cherkasy, Ukraine. In her youth, she was professionally involved in swimming and dancing. She graduated from the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management (MAUP) in Kyiv with a master's degree in Political Science and International Relations. She completed courses for television presenters at Intershkola, affiliated with the Ukrainian TV channel Inter. When she moved to France, she studied at the drama school of Jean-Laurent Cochet and completed a theater course under Hélène Zidi at Le Laboratoire de l'Acteur.
Olga Korotyayeva is multilingual and speaks Ukrainian, French, Russian and English.
Career
[edit]Olga Korotyayeva began her career as a television presenter on the Ukrainian channel TRK Ukraina, where she hosted film festival digests and red carpet events. She also collaborated with the Molodist Kyiv International Film Festival.
In France, she performed in the Parisian theater production "Seznec, un procès impitoyable" directed by Robert Hossein at the Théâtre de Paris. Her filmography includes roles in both French and Ukrainian productions.
The world premiere of the Ukrainian film War Through the Eyes of Animals will take place at the Tribeca Film Festival.
Personal life
[edit]Olga Korotyayeva is divorced and has four children. Mickael born in 1996, Salma born in 2008, Haidar born in 2009 and Joumana born in 2011.
