Nyanko, (born: February 24, 2009)[1][2] also referred to as NyankoBfLol,[3] is an English-speaking Thai YouTuber and game developer, who gained mass-popularity thanks to his Incredibox mod, named Sprunki.
Nyanko has made other mods as well, such as Static, Cartoonish, Polobox, and two mashup mods. You can play these mods here.
About NyankoBfLol
[edit]Nyanko commonly posts updates on mods he creates for Incredibox. Other than that, his content is mostly random. His old content was mostly about the mobile game The Battle Cats. Then, he switched to Friday Night Funkin' before switching again to his current content.
History
[edit]Nyanko created his channel on April 18, 2018. However, he was a very little-known content creator at the time, as his old videos had only gathered views in the hundreds to low-thousands range.
On mid-to-late 2024, Nyanko gained huge surge of subscribers due to him releasing his famous mod on that day.
Sprunki Mod
[edit]"Sprunki" is a mod for the rhythm game Incredibox, released on August 26, 2024. It was first released on Scratch, before being published to Cocrea on September 16, 2024.
It revolves around a series of characters, albeit modified to assume the appearance of jovial and friendly characters.
EoS for Sprunki
[edit]In November of 2024, Nyanko had announced that he is no longer developing the Sprunki mod, due to the mod being a harm towards his mental health among other factors.
He had specifically mentioned that Sprunki is cancelled due to him getting hacked on Discord and Scratch, the mod being more popular than Incredibox itself, and the content farms that came with the mod's over popularity, such as LankyBox, Slime Cat, Jester etc.[4] As a final update to Sprunki, he released the “Cancelled update” on November 16, 2024.
NyankoBfLol stated that all the fanon Sprunki phases, such as 3, 4, and so on, are not real and have never been considered canon.
NyankoBfLol had plans to make a remastered version of Sprunki, but later decided to cancel it.
