The North Texas–UTSA rivalry is an American college football rivalry between the North Texas Mean Green of the University of North Texas and the UTSA Roadrunners of the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Series history
[edit]Start of the rivalry
[edit]In April 2012, it was announced that UTSA would be leaving the Western Athletic Conference for Conference USA where they would join North Texas.[1] In the first meeting between the programs on November 23, 2013, UTSA secured a 21–13 win.[2] The pair met for a second time on November 29, 2014. UTSA continued their unbeaten start to the series after prevailing by a score of 34–27.[3]
