"No Time" is a song by new wave band Fiction Factory, released in 1985 as the second single from the band's second and final album, Another Story.[1] The song was written and produced by Kevin Patterson and Chic Medley.[2]

Background

[edit]

The single was a commercial failure with Not the Only One and Standing on the Top of the World. The album was also a flop, and the band disbanded shortly after. The album has since become out of print. The album's only CD release from Instant Records in Germany was limited and has become a collectors item, often selling for prices up to £500. No Time didn't have a music video, nor a TV show performance.

The single featured different colour sleeve between the 7" and 12" vinyl versions, but the overall same picture cover. The 7" vinyl had a white light background and the 12" vinyl having a blue light background. The picture cover had a pillar with a triangle "FF" (as Fiction Factory).
