Submission declined on 19 June 2025 by Rahmatula786 (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

Ngor Khangsar Shabdrung Rinpoche (Tibetan: ངོར་ཁང་གསར་ཞབས་དྲུང་རིན་པོ་ཆེ།; born 25 April 1990) is a Tibetan Buddhist lama recognised as the reincarnation of Khangsar Khenchen Ngawang Khyentse Thupten Nyingpo Rinpoche,[1] the 72nd throne holder of Ngor monastery of the Sakya School of Tibetan Buddhism.[2][3]
Biography
[edit]
Khangsar Rinpoche was born in Clement Town, Dehradun, India. At the age of seven, he was recognised by His Holiness the 41st Sakya Kyabgon Gongma Trichen Rinpoche[4] as the reincarnation of Ngawang Khyentse Thupten Nyingpo Rinpoche. Following this recognition, he became the holder of Khangsar Labrang,[5] one of the main monastic sub-schools of Ngor Ewam Choden.[3]

Rinpoche completed his formative studies at Ngor Evam Choden Monastery in Dehradun, Uttrakhand, India. For further extensive religious studies, he enrolled at the Sakya Institute of Vajrayana in Dehradun. Under the guidance of various masters, he studied the vast and profound Buddhist doctrines, along with the intricate rituals of the Sakya tradition.[6]
Khangsar Rinpoche has received a comprehensive array of lineage teachings and transmissions from many revered Tibetan Buddhist masters like His Holiness The 41st Sakya Kyabgon Gongma Trichen Rinpoche and H.E Luding Khenchen Rinpoche. He teaches at the Sakya Institute of Vajrayana in Dehradun and guides the spiritual and educational development of the monks and nuns at the monastery.[6][7]
In recent years, Rinpoche has extended his teachings to an international audience, traveling to the United States and various European nations.[7][8][9] He envisions establishing an institution that combines quality modern education with traditional Buddhist training for monks and nuns.
