Nepenthes 'Aichi' is a cultivar of a complex manmade hybrid involving N. thorelii, N. northiana, N. maxima, 'N. sanguinea and N. khasiana it was bred by Kondo & Sakai and listed by Isamu Kusakabe in 1969 and described by James & Patricia Pietropaolo in their book Carnivorous Plants of the World, published in 1986[1] It was registered in 1998[2] This cultivar was named after the Aichi Prefecture in Japan where is was cultivated.
